Anaconda Artemis (アナコンダアルテミス, Anakonda Arutemisu) is the younger sister of Vipera Hermes, and member of the Gorgon Pirates.

Physical Appearance[]
Artemis is a young woman with a child like appearance. She has long black hair that flows all the way down her back.
She has blood red eyes, her sclera turns black whenever she invokes her sword's abilities. She wears a small, black, sleeveless dress with a white collar and black tie tied around her neck.
Artemis sports a red belt that has a red side skirt cover. She wears long black socks and shoes, as well as red gauntlets and black gloves.
Personality[]
Artemis comes off as a stoic and much to series person to be a member of the Gorgon Pirates. As opposed to her older brother, Hermes, who is constantly jawing about her to others rather then allowing her to do it herself. She describes herself as socially awkward, and claims her crew can do most of the talking for her. Cooking for her cremates is one of the only things that appears to bring her joy.
In battle, Artemis proves to be deadly and cold-hearted. She cares little about the well being of her opponents, in contrast to her crew mates, whom she cares deeply about. In truth, Artemis' aloof personality is due to the years she spent as a slave at Heaven's Pillar. While Hermes has completely moved on, Artemis is stuck in past yet she refuses to talk about it because her brother says it shows too much of her weakness.
Powers and Abilities[]
Artemis is a first class fighter, second only to Hermes as the best combatant among the Gorgon Pirates. She is a very skilled swordsmen, who wields the O Wazomono Grade Katana, the Ophiuchus in combat. She is a capable and powerful fighter with remarkable speed and reflexes, being able to dodge and counter-attack with deadly results, and is also skilled in hand to hand combat. She also gives off no killing intent at all when she fights, making it difficult for the enemy to sense her presence. She is also a very talented, and passionate cook.
Swordsmanship[]
Ophiuchus' poison taking effect
Artemis wields the Ophiuchus (オフィウクス Ofiukusu) as her primary weapon. The blade has unique the ability to absorb substances that are poisonous to Artemis, then release it as an attack. She normally uses this ability by absorbing her brother's poison before engaging an opponent. When releasing the poison as an attack, it's effectiveness is doubled. Venoms that would usually take time to become lethal, would be instantly deadly after being absorbed by the Ophiuchus
After activating Ophichus' ability, the whites of Artemis' eyes fill with darkness and a number of red tatoos appear on her face and arms. In this stae, Artemis speed and reflexes increase tremendously
